Yes, I've been in hiatus. A lot has been going on in my life these past few years. I let it interfere with my creative drive. Now that most of those issues have been resolved, or are in the process of being resolved, I am working on gearing up to do more art. I am focusing mostly on my own world-building and character designs for the books I've published so far, a project I have wanted to put into print for decades. I finally churned the story itself out, now I need to do what I do best, and that is to illustrate them. Thanks, DevArt! :D I have a piece I'm working on for a snowboard design contest, but the deadline is at the end of December, my son is coming home on leave next Saturday, and it's a bit of an emotional roller coaster. See, my son is a soldier and is going to deploy to Afghanistan at the beginning of March. Yes, I did some new, fresh, beginning from the beginning art, and not something old, or started ages ago, or some such thing. Something that started as a blank screen. A sketch of a running horse. I need to do something like that daily for a while, to get my drawing hand back in shape. And my drawing brain limber again. Or vice versa, not sure which. Hah!
